Guarantees

By BuyCS2Skins Editorial TeamPublished Updated

We do not promise that every deal goes through without a hitch: a trade depends on Steam and on your account settings. What we can do is make the rules clear in advance. If a trade fails, the item price returns to the same balance. The penalty for reversing an accepted trade and all fees are shown before you pay.

What happened What happens to the money
The item was sold or its price went up while it sat in your cart Nothing is charged. We show the new total and wait for your decision
The trade offer could not be created, or you declined it or let it expire The full item price returns to the same balance
You reversed an accepted trade through Steam The price returns minus the penalty shown before payment
The hold has ended and the deal is closed The deal is final and there is no refund

What we do

  1. Show the full amount before you pay. The price, the fee and the total are on screen before you confirm. You get the same breakdown for a withdrawal.
  2. Recheck the price at checkout. If the price changed while the item was in your cart, we show the new total and charge nothing without your consent.
  3. Refund automatically. If a trade fails, the refund arrives without a support request. The reason is shown on the order page.
  4. Treat each item separately. In an order with several items, some may arrive while the money for the others comes back.
  5. Never ask for your password. Buying only needs a trade URL. The Steam sign-in happens on Steam's own page.
  6. Confirm withdrawals with a code. A withdrawal goes out only after you enter a code from Telegram, and the message with the code shows the amount and the end of the address.

Worth knowing before you buy

  1. After a trade, Steam does not let you transfer or sell the received item for several days. You can play with it right away. This is a Steam rule and we cannot shorten it.
  2. While the hold lasts, the owner of the Steam account can reverse a recent trade. If you reverse an accepted trade, only part of the price comes back: the refund share is shown next to each item before you pay, and the maximum penalty is on the Fees page.
  3. A reversal made from your Steam account counts as yours, whoever actually did it. Keep access to your account safe.
  4. A top-up cannot be withdrawn. It can only be spent on skins.

What we cannot promise

  1. That a skin will rise in price or keep its price. Market prices change, and a price change after the purchase is not a reason for a refund.
  2. That a trade offer arrives instantly. The delivery time is shown on the item card before you buy, and accepting the offer is up to you.
  3. That Steam will not change its rules. We work with the ones in force today.

If you are selling

  1. If you do not accept the trade offer or decline it, the deal is cancelled. The item stays with you and no revenue is credited.
  2. During the hold the revenue is visible on your balance but not available. If the trade is reversed in that time, the pending revenue is removed.
  3. If a payout fails, the amount returns to your revenue.
  4. A USDT transfer that has already been sent to the address you gave cannot be undone. Check the address and the network before you confirm.

If you received the wrong item

Do not reverse the trade through Steam. Email us before the hold ends and attach a link to the trade offer or a screenshot. We will look into it and reply by email.

How to check that a trade offer is ours

  1. When you buy, your side of the offer is empty: you give nothing.
  2. You receive exactly the item from your order.
  3. You open the offer with the button on the order page or the link from our bot.

If anything does not match, do not accept the offer and write to us.

Where to write

Email [email protected]. Include your order, deal or transaction number and a short description of what happened. Refunds and disputes are described in the Refund Policy: it is currently a draft awaiting legal review.

Questions and answers

Will I get my money back if the skin never arrives?

Yes. If the trade offer could not be created, or you did not accept it or declined it, the full price of the item returns to the balance you paid from. You do not need to contact support for that.

What happens if I reverse a trade I already accepted?

You get the item price back minus a penalty. The refund share is shown next to each item in the cart before you pay, and the maximum penalty is listed on the Fees page.

Do you ask for my Steam password?

No. Buying only needs your trade URL, and selling uses the official Steam sign-in page. We never ask for your password or Steam Guard codes on the site, in the bot or by email.

Is the top-up fee refunded?

No. The fee is charged for the top-up itself, not for the order, so it is not returned when an item is refunded. The item price is refunded under the rules on this page.
